Anything that really gets their eyes to light up! One of my favorites is introducing them to the world of SCUBA diving. Clients can find their limitations on land almost completely disappear in the weightless environment of being underwater. The most fun water aerobics around!

When someone asks you why you are a support worker, what do you say:

I say that I'd never imagined that I would work in the field that I am now and that I'm still here because it feels like a really important and rewarding way to be of service.

What would you like potential clients to know about you:

I like to be a person of action and adventure, I'm not opposed to measured amounts of risk. I love exploring the natural world, especially the underwater world. I can be selfish and self-involved at times but am working to resolve this. I like to think that I can be relied upon. I may be busy a lot of the time and not always at the forefront, but I am when I'm needed and it's important. Also, I keep my finger on the pulse in the background, keeping updated on all the comings and goings of our clients.

I work as both the Team Leader for Brisbane and Meliora's Support Coordinator Manager.

I'm genuinely passionate about improving people's NDIS plans when needed, working with participants to find the best possible combination of supports to suit their needs, plus planning adventurous activities.

I also love working with people new to the NDIS, both participants and workers - and assisting them to get the most out of the NDIS overall.

Service to others is in my nature, and has been a large part of my whole life. Whether through church, supporting women experiencing domestic violence, or assisting NDIS participants to live their best life in their situation - my heart sings to be able to work meaningfully with people in our community.

My favourite activity to do with clients are, swimming, hiking, riding around on my electric scooters and exploring new places.

I'm a support worker because I love being able to connect with all kinds of people and I love that I'm able to help those people, even if its just a little bit. Being a support worker to me doesn't really feel like a job.

If you could have a superpower what would it be and why:

To time travel mixed with being able to travel anywhere in the universe, a little weird but I want to be able to have that superpower to learn the evolution of the world and all its history itself, as well as exploring the universe and all its mysterious.

I am very optimistic and love encouraging people to follow their dreams/ goals. I also love exploring new places and am up to giving anything new a go.
